The winner of the 2019 Institute for Perception Student Award has been selected!

We are pleased to announce that

Molly Higgins

is the recipient of the 2019 Institute for Perception Student Award.


Molly is a graduate student of Dr. John E. Hayes at The Pennsylvania State University.

With so many exceptional applications this year, 

Alexa Pullicin

was also selected for a runner-up award.


Alexa is a graduate student of Dr. Juyun Lim at Oregon State University.

The Institute for Perception holds an annual competition to identify and reward a senior undergraduate or graduate student who demonstrates an exceptional talent and an interest in pursuing a career in sensory science, marketing, psychology, economics or related fields. The selected student will receive a $1,000 award and a complimentary invitation to attend any Institute for Perception course. We will be accepting applications for the 2020 Institute for Perception Student Award beginning in September, 2020.
